2026-27 Annual Notice for Statewide Tests

PPS Families,

As required by the Oregon Department of Education, we are providing you the 2026-2027 Annual Notice for Statewide Tests. The notice is available in English, Spanish, Vietnamese, Chinese, Russian and Somali on the PPS Data and Accountability website.

Statewide testing is part of our balanced assessment system that offers all students, especially historically underserved students, opportunities to demonstrate their progress. Information provided by student assessments is critical in helping us determine district and school priorities for improving student learning.

The Portland Public Schools 2026-2027 English Language Arts (ELA) and Math statewide testing window for high school students is February 2 to May 28, 2027, and the window for grades 3-8 is April 12 to May 28, 2027.
